1. Our Commitment

All profits generated from the winning side's votes will be donated to charity. This is a core part of Settle the GOAT Debate — your vote doesn't just count, it makes a real difference.

2. How the Charity Is Chosen

The specific charity will be decided after the voting period has ended. The selection process will be transparent and community-driven:

  • Once voting closes, we will announce the final results and the total charity pool
  • A public vote will be held on our Instagram where followers can choose between a shortlist of charities
  • The charity with the most Instagram votes will receive the full donation

3. Transparency

We are committed to full transparency throughout this process:

  • The total amount raised will be publicly displayed on the site at all times
  • The charity shortlist will be announced on Instagram before the vote
  • Proof of donation will be shared publicly on Instagram after the transfer is complete

4. What Counts as "Profit"

Profits are calculated as the total revenue from the winning side's votes minus payment processing fees (Stripe fees) and essential operating costs (hosting, domain). The vast majority of each $10 vote goes directly to the charity pool.

5. Voting Period

The voting period and its end date will be announced on our Instagram. Follow us to stay updated on when voting closes and when the charity vote begins.

6. Follow Us

Stay updated on the charity selection, donation progress, and all announcements by following us on Instagram. All major decisions will be communicated there first.

7. Questions
